Guilherme Paulus is the co-founder of CVC Brasil Operadora e AgĂȘncia de Viagens S.A. (CVC), is an award-winning entrepreneur won the Entrepreneur of the Year Award. Additionally, through his leadership and entrepreneurial skills, the CVC Company is one of the respected and largest tour companies in Latin America. Paulus co-founded the company in 1972 at the age of 24 with Carlos Vicente, a politician who later left after years. After his exit, Paulus was left alone but did not look back and helped the company reach international standards.

During his youthful days, Paulus worked with IBM as an intern, which made him gain reputation something he has portrayed in the business world internationally. Guilherme Paulus’ leadership in his company has made it achieve recognition in Latin America as the most effective and largest tour operator of all times. He started a global investment fund, and the investors accessed it through stock exchange in 2013. His CVC Company has a $5.2 billion annual revenue a rate that it has maintained every year. The success of CVC gives Paulus an opportunity to establish about 100 stores yearly. These stores are targeted in areas with less population because these are the fertile areas of attracting many clients. His company has outlets in many famous shopping malls found all over Brazil. To attract online clients, Guilherme Paulus works with Omni Channel in a move, which integrates physical stores and online clients. In his role as a prestigious entrepreneur, social accountability is one concept that he values and hence his success.

Apart from tourism, his company is involved in community activities like helping the youngsters who have educational hardships and the passion in the tourism industry but have no access. Other philanthropic projects that Guilherme Paulus has funded include Dr. Klaide Care and Education Institution and National Project of Professional Initiation in Tourism. Through this institution, many adolescents have received funds for education, counseling, and medical care.
